To setup 2FA for your Wikipedia account with our Authenticator App, you need to follow the next steps:
Go to wikipedia.org.
Click "Enable" next to "TOTP (one-time token)", and log in with your username and password.
The recommended authentication method is to scan a QR code in the app. In "Step 2" of the setup page, there is a box with a pattern which you have to point your device's camera toward.
Open our Authenticator App, click the + button at the bottom right of the screen, then hold your device near the computer screen to scan the QR code.

After successfully scanning, a 6-digit code will be shown at the bottom of the screen. Please note that this code refreshes every 30 seconds.

Return to the Wikipedia webpage, and type the 6-digit verification code from your app into the 2FA enrollment page under "Step 4".
Remember to click "Save" in the Authenticator App to save your account, or you may lose access to your account!

Write down the scratch codes from "Step 3" and keep them in a secure location. You can also add these backup codes to our app for easy access.
That's it, you're all set up. From now on, when you attempt to sign in to your Wikipedia account, you will need to use our Authenticator App.
